I am currently an out-of-network provider which means I do not accept insurance directly. However, I help my clients with the reimbursement process providing you with a monthly receipt. In my experience, most my clients are reimbursed for 60 to 80% for the cost of their sessions if they have out-of-network mental health coverage.

The general rule of thumb for the frequency of sessions is once per week, especially in the beginning. If more sessions are needed we will discuss at a later date. Therapy requires a concentrated effort on a consistent basis to realize the fullest benefits for the therapeutic relationship to work and foster good results.

Your therapist is required to maintain confidentiality about everything said in sessions between the two of you, just like a doctor is required to keep your records private. While there are laws and regulations in place to protect your privacy, confidentiality is also a key part of social work code of ethics.
